What the 7 November update asked you to relearn

The announced update added words, Mastery variants, island changes and a VIP panel note. Older strongest-word advice is the part to retire.

The announcement

The experience lists an event called 40+ WORDS + Word Mastery. Public write-ups place the start at 7 Nov 2026, 17:00 UTC. The developer's wording, as repeated by those listings, adds more than 40 words, including giant monsters, heroes, creepy creatures and a few secret ones. The new names were not published in that text.

Word Mastery uses a favourite word. You finish Mastery quests for it and unlock a version described as bigger, stronger and with a new look. The same announcement said words that were too strong or too weak were tuned.

One event listing also gave an end of 9 Nov 2026, 4:00 PM Pacific. Treat that as the listing's window, not as proof the words disappear when the clock hits.

What to redo in-game

  1. Open the Word Diary and see which new entries you can still discover. Collector still wants 150.
  2. Pick one word you already understand and look for its Mastery quest before you chase a new name.
  3. Throw out pre-update rankings of a single best word. The balance pass was the point of the patch.
  4. Re-walk the island. The announcement includes map changes, and a climb that used to answer Tsunami may have moved.

VIP servers

The announcement mentions a VIP server control panel. The public universe record, updated 8 Nov 2026, still had VIP server creation turned off. If the button is missing, that flag explains it. Do not buy a pass on the assumption that a panel is already live.

The experience record itself was updated 8 Nov 2026. That timestamp is not a second patch note.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you actually do in a match?

The official description says one random player writes a word each round and that word comes to life. Words stack, and the last player alive wins. Servers hold up to 40 players.

Is the game free?

The experience is free to join. Cash Meta Words, normal Spins and ordinary words do not require Robux. Premium Meta Words, the 2 Words pass and Lucky Spins are optional purchases, and their live prices belong on the purchase screen.

Can every word I type do something unique?

No. Recognized words use the game's effect. Guides describe an unrecognized word as either snapping to a nearby effect or spawning an NPC named after the text. Roblox can also filter an input.

How is a Meta Word different from a normal word?

Meta Words are unlocked in the lobby and entered with a leading slash, such as /undo. The same letters without the slash are an ordinary word and do not use the Meta Word effect.

What should I chase first?

Write one word for My First Idea, then learn a few warnings well enough to stay alive. Champion is a match win. Survivor is 60 words in one match. Collector is 150 Word Diary entries. None of those official goals require a pass.
